The first phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 was suspended indefinitely after Covid-19 spread across the various franchises. To maintain the safety of players and stop the spread of the virus the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to suspend the IPL 2021 indefinitely.
Meanwhile, later Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to host the remainder of IPL 2021 in UAE. Also, several players are all set to travel to UAE for IPL. Notably, one of the most loved Indian cricketers MS Dhoni has landed in Chennai before heading to UAE.

The second phase of the Indian Premier League will start on September 19. Also, it is scheduled to end on October 15. Notably, the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 will be played across 27 days including playoffs and the final.
Meanwhile, the captain of Chennai Super Kings MS Dhoni was spotted in Chennai ahead of the marquee T20 tournament.

Notably, the first match of the UAE leg of the Indian Premier League 2021 will see Dhoni in action. Two giants of IPL, Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians and Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will go up against each other when IPL 2021 resumes on September 19.

How did MS Dhoni’s CSK perform in IPL 2021 India leg?
Chennai Super Kings had an amazing outing in the first phase of Indian Premier League 2021. The MS Dhoni-led side was able to bag a victory in 5 out of 7 games.
