The IPL 2022 fever has already started with a couple of franchises releasing their new jersey for the upcoming season. On Saturday, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore revealed their new shirts for the 15th edition of the tournament.
Meanwhile, this year’s tournament is set to be a grand affair with two new teams – Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) – coming into the picture. These two franchises, however, are yet to unveil their team jersey’s.
However, a video has gone viral in social media wherein famous rapper and singer Badshah seems like recording a promotional video for Lucknow Super Giants. He is sporting a turquoise blue jersey in the clip with the franchise’s logo on it.
As the video went viral, netizens came up with speculations that LSG players might don this jersey in the 2022 edition.

LSG are expected to release their jersey soon with only a couple of weeks left for IPL 2022 to kick off. They have one of the strongest squad on paper and will hope to set the competition on fire on their debut season.
Speaking of the squad, captain KL Rahul will join hands with Quinton de Kock at the top with veteran Manish Pandey following the duo. They have a couple of all-rounders in their ranks, who can change the course of the game on any given day.
As far as the bowling attack is concerned, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Dushmantha Chameera will serve the team.
Lucknow Super Giants will kick-start their campaign against Gujarat Titans on March 28.
