IPL 2023: During A Rain Delay At Narendra Modi Stadium, A Woman Shoved And Struck A Police Officer

In order to tie the Mumbai Indians (MI) with their fifth championship, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are committed to winning it. The Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, are aiming to become the first team to win back-to-back championships in their first two seasons of competition.

By winning the championship in their first year, they accomplished a remarkable feat last season.

The intense match, however, was forced to be postponed unnecessarily due to persistent rain, which clearly infuriated the fervent spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

A video showing a woman shoving a police officer in the stands has gone viral online, adding to the uproar at the stadium and eliciting a flurry of responses from spectators.

A spectator inside the stadium shared a video of a woman pushing and hitting a police officer after an argument. The supporter went on to say that nobody intervened when the woman repeatedly slapped the police officer.

“This woman hit and slapped this male police officer like nothing was stopping him, and the helpless man could do nothing. Is this empowering women? The fan tweeted.

The spectator later disclosed that the woman had been escorted from the stadium because of her combative behavior.

Ahmedabad players and spectators are still frustrated by the rain, so the overs are now beginning to get shorter. The covers had previously been removed when the rain stopped at around 8:45 PM, but the ground staff had to put them back on when it started to rain again.

Notably, Gujarat Titans are attempting to win their second consecutive championship, while MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings are attempting to win their fifth championship.
