However, he redeemed himself by delivering an outstanding final over. Tasked with bowling to a well-established Andre Russell, who was batting at 41 runs off just 18 balls, the right-arm pacer had a challenging job ahead of him.

With precision, the Indian bowler delivered a toe-crushing yorker, causing Andre Russell to stumble on the pitch in an effort to block the ball from hitting the stumps.

Ultimately, the ball shattered the stumps. Following his dismissal, Russell displayed a commendable gesture towards Ishant Sharma by applauding his exceptional delivery, as he was seen clapping for the bowler’s remarkable performance.

Regarding the match, KKR has achieved a colossal score of 272 for 7 in 20 overs. Sunil Narine spearheaded the batting onslaught for the two-time champions, smashing 85 runs off only 39 deliveries, while debutant Angkrish Raghuvanshi contributed 54 runs from just 27 balls.
