Ahead of their IPL 2025 clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) hosted a meet and greet event at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The match, scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, marks the final league fixture of the season.
Fans gathered at the venue for the event, but their attention quickly shifted when RCB star Virat Kohli emerged from the dressing room for training. As he stepped onto the field, the crowd erupted in chants of “Kohli Kohli,” capturing photos and videos of the iconic batter.
The excitement didn’t stop there—fans also began chanting “RCB RCB” while the Bengaluru-based team trained, creating a charged atmosphere at the stadium.

LSG are already out of the playoff contention, while RCB have secured qualification and will look to secure a top-two spot with a win over Lucknow on Tuesday.

LSG, currently seventh on the points table, have missed out on the playoffs this season. With six wins and seven losses from 13 games, they’ve collected 12 points. As they take on RCB in their final match at home, LSG will aim to finish their campaign on a high and potentially derail Bengaluru’s push for a top-two spot.
RCB, sitting third with eight wins and 17 points, will secure a top-two finish with a victory over Lucknow, boosting their chances of reaching the final. However, they’ll be feeling the pressure after a 42-run defeat to SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the same venue earlier.
Meanwhile, LSG will be riding high on confidence after their 33-run win over Gujarat Titans (GT) and will look to cap off their season with consecutive victories.
