Yesterday Ravindra Jadeja was at his very best with the bat as he guided CSK over a win against KKR. When it seemed KKR will clinch the match, it was brilliant striking from Jadeja in the last few overs that completely changed the course of the match.
On the back of Jadeja’s explosive cameo of 31 from mere 11 balls, CSK registered another consolation win. Well, CSK may have not benefited much from the win but Rajasthan Royals sure did. After CSK’s victory, the Royals remain in contention to qualify for IPL 2020 playoffs.
RR Posts An Appreciation Tweet For Ravindra Jadeja
As a result, the franchise made sure that they thanked their former Royal on Twitter. Ravindra Jadeja previously played for RR in IPL and was also part of their trophy-winning squad way back in 2008. While playing under the inspired leadership of Shane Warne, Jadeja made a name for himself and since then haven’t looked back.
“Once a Royal, always a Royal”, the official Twitter account of Rajasthan Royals wrote after Jadeja hit the winning runs.

Meanwhile, if KKR had gone onto close the match Rajasthan Royals would have virtually been knocked out of the competition. Luckily it was their former player who came to their rescue and indirectly kept them alive in the competition.
Coming back to match, the match got tensed in the last two overs with Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran were batting for CSK. The momentum of the match completely changed in the 19th over when Jadeja took full toll against Lockie Ferguson. The equation became simpler for CSK when they required only 10 runs in the final over.
Jadeja smashed the inexperienced Kamlesh Nagarkoti for two consecutive sixes on the last ball and sealed the win for his side. Furthermore, today Rajasthan Royals will be now hoping to defeat Kings XI Punjab with a big margin and stay alive in IPL 2020.
