Indian fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, and his wife Sanjana were seen enjoying the semi-finals of the Euro 2020 at the Wembley Stadium. Sanjana shared a picture of the duo ahead of the match-up between Italy and Spain. The match ended 1-1 after extra-time, and Italy eventually scraped through on penalties.
The Indian team were allowed to take a break from the bio-bubble following the conclusion of the World Test Championship (WTC) final. This was much needed ahead of a grueling 5-Test series against England. They will regroup and assemble at Durham around July 14.
Earlier, Rishabh Pant had attended a game between England and Germany. Jasprit Bumrah followed suit and enjoyed an evening at the picturesque Wembley Stadium ahead of the Euro 2020 semifinal clash. Sanjana was seen standing alongside Jasprit Bumrah in the photo posted on her official Twitter handle.

“I felt Jasprit Bumrah was woefully out of form” – Saba Karim
Former cricketer Saba Karim stated that Jasprit Bumrah was picked on terms of his reputation and not on recent games. While talking about Bumrah’s inclusion in the recently concluded WTC Final, Karim said:
“I feel the selectors did not pay attention to the current form and went on with reputation. Jasprit Bumrah has not played red-ball cricket since he got injured in Australia. He has only played white-ball cricket and that too only the T20s. He did not play in the home series against England. I felt he was woefully out of form if we talk about red-ball cricket.”
Although Bumrah seemed out of sorts against New Zealand, he will look to turn his fortunes around in the England series starting August 4. He remains India’s best all-format bowler. However, with Mohammad Siraj looking imperious, one of India’s frontline pacers might have to make way if they underperform.
