The fast bowler from South Africa – Kagiso Rabada has been one of the talented fast bowlers in world cricket at present. He has sent nightmares to the batsmen with his brisk pace and line-length ever since he broke into the international circuit. As Rabada strives for more consistency, the Proteas star has revealed that India skipper Virat Kohli pushes him to attain greater heights.

The 24-year-old Rabada has struggled with injuries in the recent past but has come back strong. With South Africa going through a transition, greater roles lie on Kagiso Rabada’s shoulder. And he is banking on Kohli’s impeccable consistency across the three formats to deliver the best.

Naming Virat Kohli as the most consistent cricketer during a chat show, Rabada revealed that the Indian cricketer has also pushed him to do better in lives. Incidentally, both Rabada and Kohli have enjoyed many on-field battles giving the fans some nail-biting entertainment.

“If you look at one day cricket, I’d say Virat Kohli is the most consistent performer, he is consistent in Test cricket as well. I even like the work of Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson,” Rabada, a ‘Red Bull’ athlete, said on a chat show.

Despite achieving a lot in his short international career. Kagiso Rabada is yet to realise his dream of winning the World Cup. The youngster wants to remove the ‘chokers’ tag from South Africa and win a World Cup for his country in the near future.

“Well, it was an ambition of mine to be where I am today. So glad to have reached that pinnacle. All I want to do now is focus on a few things that would make me play better, win a World Cup, that’d be amazing,” added Rabada.

So far, Kagiso Rabada has accumulated 197 wickets from 43 Tests along with 117 ODI wickets and 30 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
