KL Rahul fit to join India teammates

Speaking about cricket, KL Rahul was recently seen leading Punjab Kings in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He looked in fine rhythm with the bat scoring 331 runs from seven matches at an average of 66.20 including four half-centuries.

The talented batter from Karnataka led the side from the front before being diagnosed with appendicitis, which ruled him out for a couple of days. Rahul missed a few games before the tournament was halted due to a rise in COVID19 cases in the country and a few bio-bubble breaches.

KL Rahul has recovered completely and will join his national teammates in Mumbai before flying to the UK on June 2. India will play the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton starting June 18 followed by the five-match Test series against England. Rahul, who last played a Test match in 2019 against West Indies, will look to get some game time and reclaim a Test berth.
