KL Rahul defied gravity and saved 5 runs for his side with his outstanding save at the boundary rope. When Jos Buttler struck the ball it seemed that the ball will land over the boundary rope but KL Rahul pulled off a stunning save.

It was a superman effort from KL Rahul as he kept his balance jumped in the air and after catching the ball flicked it back in play. The 67,000 spectators watching the match at Ahmedabad stadium were in awe of Rahul’s save as he put his body on the line and saved crucial runs for his side.

In recent times Rahul has been playing as a wicket-keeper in white ball with Rishabh Pant out of the squad. However, since Pant has made comeback he was in the outfield, produced a magical save and denied Buttler a maximum. The ball was hit miles in the air but Rahul kept his cool and timed his jump to perfection.

He displayed outstanding commitment in the field as the entire Indian team applauded his effort. Rahul after landing over the boundary rope looked in pain but was quickly back on his feet much to the delight of all the fans. The Indian opener failed with the bat today but he made sure that he contributed in the field for team India.

Meanwhile, talking about the overall match England has been bossing the match from ball one. They restricted India’s total to only 125 runs and are currently chasing it without any hiccup. The batting line of India failed to deliver as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. It was Shreyas Iyer who scored an outstanding half-century and gave India’s total some respectability. Nevertheless, England is on their way to take a 1-0 lead in the 5 matches T20I series.
