KL Rahul Reacts After Fans Compare Him To MS Dhoni

Kings Xi Punjab skipper KL Rahul is in fine form this season as he has been scoring the bulk of the runs for his side opening the batting alongside Mayank Agarwal. Appointed as Kings XI Punjab’s skipper ahead of the 2020 season since Ravichandran Ashwin was transferred to Delhi Capitals in the pre-season transfer window.

Talking about his batting performance KL Rahul is currently the highest scorer in this edition of the Indian Premier League which also makes him the Orange cap holder with over 550 runs under his belt. He is second to only his opening partner Mayank Agarwal as he has scored close to 300 runs.

As far as KL Rahul’s captaincy is considered he hasn’t really put up a great show as a captain, obviously, he has single-handedly led the batting department of his side, the performance hasn’t really inflicted in his team winning this season.

There is only one Thala and everyone knows who it is – KL Rahul

In the end, the match was tied and went into a super over where Kings XI Punjab emerged victorious in the second super over.

After the match, a fan of KL Rahul tweeted a picture of KL Rahul inflicting the run out of Quinton De Kock captioning it as ‘My Thala’. But KL Rahul was quick to reply and correct the fan that, ‘There is only one Thala and everyone knows who it is’.
