Kuldeep Yadav Reveals The Name Of Toughest Batter To Bowl At

Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav has witnessed life from the spectrum of both highs and lows in a short span. The young cricketer was touted as the future of India’s spin department when he bursts onto the scene in 2017 alongside Yuzvendra Chahal.

His googlies were difficult to pick and with MS Dhoni behind the wicket, Kuldeep slowly became a force to reckon with. But soon after the cricketer from Uttar Pradesh lost his rhythm and was left out of the side. Kuldeep Yadav also lost favour in the IPL side – Kolkata Knight Riders.

David Warner’s wicket is special to me – Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep has enjoyed both hugely impressive spells against top batters and also had some of the most difficult outings this early in his career. When the chinaman spinner was asked about the most difficult batsman he has faced in a recent interview, he had an interesting take.

“I feel everyone is good when they are in form so there is no particular batter. Any batter can be dangerous when he is in good form,” he told Crictracker.

Kuldeep Yadav’s first wicket in the longest format of the game was none other than the mighty David Warner of Australia. Till date, Kuldeep feels the dismissal of the destructive Aussie opener is the most special wicket of his career.

“It is always a special feeling to get the debut cap and when you take your first wicket. It was a very special moment for me and I was happy. If you watch the ball, it was a flipper and I set him up with a flighted one and I knew there was a chance for an LBW or caught behind but it went straight to Ajinkya Rahane. Yes, it was a great moment for me,” he said.

After missing out on the ICC World Test Championship squad, Kuldeep Yadav will aim to find a spot in the limited-overs squad that takes on Sri Lanka in July.
