Michael Vaughan-Wasim Jaffer Engage In Another Hilarious Twitter Banter

There seems to be no end to Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan’s rivalry on Twitter. Recently they have engaged in another Twitter banter. Vaughan has been in the new recently for his words on Virat Kohli. He said that the Indian skipper is popular around the cricketing world because he is Indian and has a massive social media following. Vaughan also hinted Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson being a better batsman than Kohli also predicting that Williamson will score more runs than Kohli in the upcoming English summer.

Wasim Jaffer replied to Michael Vaughan’s words saying that the former England skipper has a habit of making controversial statements time and again. Former Pakistan skipper Salman Butt too said that Vaughan’s words were below the belt regarding the same context.

I the recent banter, Michael Vaughan gave one back to Wasim Jaffer. Talking to CricTracker, Vaughan was asked to name one cricketer whom he would block on social media. Vaughan replied with Wasim Jaffer’s name before clarifying that he doesn’t block anyone unless he is abused or trolled.

“Wasim Jaffer. To be honest, I wouldn’t block anyone. I block people who abuse me, trying to have a go at me, or someone, whose handle isn’t real,” Vaughan said in the interaction.

Replaying to the same, Jaffer also gave it back to Vaughan on his own funny way. Reacting to Vaughan’s comments on wanting to block him, Jaffer came with a funny post on Twitter. Jaffer posted the photo of India’s 2007 Test series win against England and captioned it as- “Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me”.

Vaughan too did not waste time in replying back to Jaffer “I would never do that Wasim … No player that got out to my filthy off spin will ever be blocked,” Vaughan wrote replying to Jaffer. The former India batsman responded once again and said – “Never knew I’d have to pay like this for getting out to your filthy off spin.”

The Twitter banter between Vaughan and Jaffer originates from Vaughan’s predictions that the Kiwis have an upper hand in the WTC final and that they have the edge over the Indian team. Meanwhile, Jaffer has been dogged at proving that this Indian team can beat any team in the world anywhere.
