Kyle Jamieson was a big attraction at the IPL 2021 auction table as Royal Challengers Bangalore roped in his services for 15 crores. They earlier bought Glenn Maxwell for 14.25 crores. They have made two of the biggest buys of the day in the IPL 2021 auction. Jamieson was expected to be paid the big bucks and RCB has just proved him right. After a bidding war with Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, RCB finally acquired his services for the next IPL season. 

Meanwhile, the tall Kiwi cricketer had an eventful day back at his hotel room while the bidding war was on among the franchises. He shared his feelings about the moment when the hree teams were fighting it out for the 6’6 inch cricketer.

Kyle Jamieson Share Experience On His Insane Bidding

In a video posted by the BlackCaps official Twitter handle, Jamieson spoke about his experience of watching his auction live on his television from his hotel room. 

“I woke up around midnight and decided to check the phone – just trying to embrace the whole experience. I don’t know if this will ever happen again. Rather than trying to avoid the situation, [I thought] I’ll sit back and enjoy it. It was certainly a weird hour and a half waiting for my name to be called up.” Kyle Jamieson said in a video posted by New Zealand Cricket’s official Twitter handle.

He further informed that it was former Kiwi pacer James Bond who updated him about the hue sum that Royal Challengers Bangalore paid to get his services for the next season. 

“I had a message from Shane Bond as it was going and he was saying, ‘How good is this’. I didn’t actually know what the amount of money how that translated to New Zealand dollars. It was quite cool to share that moment with him and ride that two or three minutes with him” Kyle Jamieson revealed. 

Kyle Jamieson who made his international debut some 18 months ago has had his share of injuries and he would like to keep himself fit for his very first IPL season for Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s side.
