Ravindra Ravindra Ravindra Jadeja has decided to hand over the CSK captaincy once again to Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Earlier just before the start of IPL 2022, MS Dhoni handed over the CSK captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja keeping in mind the future of CSK.

Ravindra Jadeja decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game. He requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK once again. 4 times IPL winning captain MS Dhoni accepted the request to lead CSK in the larger interest & to allow Jadeja to focus on his game.

Ravindra Jadeja was undergoing poor form in IPL 2022. Jadeja managed to score just 112 runs in 8 matches at Strike rate of 121. Jadeja has also been ineffective with the ball. He has grabbed just 5 wickets in 8 matches at an economy of 8.2.

However, this decision of Jadeja wasn’t expected at all. Cricket fans are in shock as it was just the starting of captaincy career of Jadeja. This decision has created a lot of buzz on social media. Here are some of the top twitter reactions:

It will be a smooth process : CSK CEO on this decision of Jadeja

CSK CEO said, “It will always be a smooth process. The decision has been taken by the team management. We do not interfere in that. They would have talked and taken the decision”. (To NDTV).

CSK so far has won just 2 games in 8 matches in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. It created a lot of pressure on Ravindra Jadeja to deliver good results for CSK as captain. Moreover it was seen on various occasions when MS Dhoni was marshalling the troops despite Jadeja being the captain.
