In an interesting news that has taken Twitter by storm, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has lost his blue tick on his official handle. The Twitter users are making several speculations regarding the reason why this has happened however, no one has been able to find the truth behind the same. Dhoni, in the meantime has been inactive on the social media handle and has been spending quality time with family.
The closest reason which the Twitterverse predicted behind MS Dhoni losing his blue tick is due to him being inactive on Twitter for over six months. As per the regulations that have to be followed to have a Twitter account is for the user to stay active is to keep using it for a period of time. Any inactivity of over six months will mean that you run the risk of losing the blue tick.
The blue tick also emphasises the fact that it is an official page and it is generally given to celebrities, sportspersons and eminent personalities.
