MS Dhoni was spotted wearing Shimla’s traditional cap while vacationing with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. Following the removal of covid-19 restrictions in Himachal Pradesh due to the considerable decrease in daily covid cases, the CSK skipper went on a tour with his family.

Several pictures have popped up of Dhoni, ones where we see him holding a bat next to an ardent fan. In the latest snap, he’s seen wearing a Shimla’s traditional ‘topi’, locally called ‘Kullu topi’. It’s a type of cap that’s round in shape and flat at the top, with a few colorful patterns woven on the sides.

Dhoni is seen sporting a new look, with a moustache that resembles Shikhar Dhawan’s and a messy beard. He’s well known for experimenting with new looks, ranging from Mohawks to Buzzcuts.

IPL 2021 set to resume in September

After IPL was suspended due to an outbreak of covid-19 cases in the camps of a few franchises, BCCI announced that its likely to take place in the September-October window in the UAE, just before the start of the 2021 T20 World Cup. CSK, who finished 7th during IPL 2020, will look to continue their amazing run from the first phase.

Under MS Dhoni, the CSK team has been on a rampage, winning 5 games out of 7 before the interruption. They are currently in the second spot with five wins from seven matches. Although Dhoni hasn’t had the best of seasons with the bat, he’ll be looking forward to marshaling the troops once the IPL resumes.
