The Eliminator 1 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) will see Karachi Kings go up against Peshawar Zalmi at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on June 21 (Monday).
Peshawar Zalmi have finished third on the points table with five wins from their league games. Although they come from the back of a defeat, Peshawar have the firepower in their ranks to stun Karachi Kings. The onus will be on the likes of Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal, and Sherfane Rutherford to put runs on the board on a flat Abu Dhabi deck.
On the other hand, Karachi Kings have also won five of their 10 group games but finished fourth on virtue of a lower run rate. Sharjeel Khan has been in blistering form with the bat and the management will want their star opener to shine on the big stage.

The winner of Eliminator 1 will face the loser of the Qualifier between the top two teams in Eliminator 2 for a place in the PSL 2021 final.
