In between all the drama and uncertainty, Ravi Shastri has finally delivered an update, according to him the Indian selectors refrained from including him the side as his injury looks serious which is why there is a possibility that he might just injure himself again in Australia.

“I have no say, neither I am a part of the selection. All I know is the medical report which says he could be in danger of injuring himself again,” Shastri said.

“It’s being handled by the people in charge of the medical part of it. We don’t get involved in that. They have submitted a report to the selectors and they have gone about their business,” he added.

Earlier it was reported that BCCI was going to assess Rohit Sharma on Sunday, after which Nitin Patel the Mumbai Indians and Team India physio was going to provide an update of Rohit’s participation to the BCCI.
