Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is preparing for their encounter with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB won the encounter by a 50-run victory previously against CSK. Meanwhile, while the roster of RCB seems very settled, CSK is showing inconsistencies, especially in the top order, with the right opening and trying out more than seven batsmen. With Ruturaj Gaikwad injured, they are now greatly affected in their batting.

The M. Chinnaswamy stadium is a horrible place for bowlers, where three out of four games are won by chasing. A flat pitch with short boundaries is great for batters, but the power play has always been tricky in terms of the team average being 46 in some two wickets during the first six overs.

Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar of RCB have been talking with the ball, while Noor Ahmed and Khaleel Ahmed would be CSK’s best by raising the bar. The confusion with subsequent turns for Noor has left it baffling for general batters and could threaten RCB batting. Given the tail end of form RCB shows and home conditions, it is reasonable to think they will win this match.

Who Will Win the Match?

From the past record, CSK has always managed a great deal in head-to-head with RCB by winning 21 out of 34 matches. But the momentum shift was sensed when, in their last contest at the IPL 2025, RCB crushed CSK by a whopping 50 runs. At present, RCB is topping the IPL 2025 points table with a good 14 from 10 and also performing quite well this season. CSK, on the other hand, has suffered from the worst run so far, with eight losses out of ten and has just been announced as the first team to exit the IPL 2025 season officially. Due to the current form and advantage of the home ground, RCB looks to be in a quality position to win this match again.
