The Chennai Super Kings are preparing in full flow for the upcoming IPL season. The entire CSK squad are practising in the ICC academy facility in Dubai. The popular franchise has been live streaming all their outdoor practice sessions for all their countless fans. On Sunday the franchise went one step ahead and also telecasted its practice match.

Meanwhile during the practice went a special request came from none other than Sakshi Dhoni. Mrs Dhoni asked the CSK team manager to give a glimpse of ‘Mahi’ and she quickly got her request fulfilled.

The camera immediately shifted focus to Dhoni who was spotted behind the wicket which made his wife extremely pleased. Meanwhile, Sakshi couldn’t travel with the Chennai squad amid the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Only Mumbai Indians have allowed the cricketers to travel with their family.

Moreover, CSK has thus far had a tough time in the UAE. Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh pulled out of the tournament owing to personal reasons and two of their players were also tested COVID-19 positive along with their staff members.

CSK had landed in Dubai on August 21 and were supposed to commence their outdoor training in August itself. However, due to their players being inquired positive they had to delay their outdoor training which they later began in the first week of September.

Furthermore, all eyes will be on CSK skipper MS Dhoni who will return on the cricket field after more than one year. The former India captain announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August. Dhoni is now focusing on the upcoming big season and is fine-tuning his skills for his beloved franchise.

The 3 times champions, Chennai Super Kings will take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the season opener on September 19. Last year MI had defeated CSK in a thrilling final and lifted their 4th IPL crown.
