Chennai Super Kings poor run in the ongoing Indian Premier League has incited vile comments across social media platforms. So much so, some went on to give rape threats MS Dhoni’s five-year-old daughter Ziva. And now, security has been tightened at Dhoni’s farmhouse in the wake of the development.
The three-time IPL champions are yet to find their feet in the UAE. They have already lost five of the seven games and on the verge of bowing out of the competition. Moreover, MS Dhoni has also looked completely out of form increasing more agony for Chennai Super Kings.
Daughter of MS Dhoni – Ziva gets rape threats
Meanwhile, after CSK’s ten-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders, trollers started to target Dhoni’s five-year-old daughter. They gave rape threats and threatened to cause physical violence to Ziva as outbursts for MS Dhoni’s poor display on the field. The threats allegedly appeared on MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi’s Instagram accounts.

In the wake of the development, the police have tightened the security at former India captain’s farmhouse. Police said that besides increasing patrolling, some personnel in civil clothes have also been deployed near his farmhouse to keep a close vigil on suspicious elements.
Incidentally, MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni and their daughter is currently staying in that farmhouse while the legendary cricketer is on his duty to play IPL in the UAE.
“Frequency of patrolling near Dhoni’s farmhouse has been increased. We are keeping a close watch on the movement of suspicious elements near the house. In addition to that a squad has also been kept reserve at a certain distance from his farmhouse to deal with any exigency,” said Rural SP Naushad Alam was quoted as saying by The New Indian Express.
“A number of static force, which already was deployed in and around his farmhouse, has also been increased,” he added.
Meanwhile, the incident has been slammed from all quarters. From former cricketers to administrative personnel; they have criticised the turns of events.
