Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan is eyeing a major milestone against KKR in his side’s upcoming match in Ahmedabad. Delhi is placed third while KKR fifth in the points table as of now. KKR notched up a win against Punjab Kings after losing four back to back games while Delhi lost against RCB by just 1 run in their last game.
Shikhar Dhawan, who owned the Orange Cap for a long time, has scored 265 runs so far. Shaw has 187 runs and has struck at 153.27. Dhawan will aim to regain his Orange Cap from Faf du Plessis in the fixture.

Shikhar Dhawan Eyeing Major Milestone Against KKR
Apart from that, he will also eye a major IPL milestone. With 5462 runs, Dhawan presently sits at the 3rd spot on the list of most run-getters in IPL. He is just 28 runs short of leapfrogging Suresh Raina’s tally, who sits at the 2nd spot with 5489 runs in his account. Dhawan can finish as the second-highest run-getter in the IPL after Virat Kohli’s tally of 6041 runs.
Dhawan, who had started his IPL career with Delhi Capitals (then known as Delhi Daredevils), has 1744 runs for his home team. He scored 231 runs for Mumbai Indians and 969 runs for Deccan Chargers. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dhawan scored 2518 before moving to DC before 2019.
Shikhar Dhawan also has 688 runs against KKR and has a best of 97*. The two teams have had opposite results in their last games. KKR would like to continue with the momentum while Delhi would like to come back to winning ways. Dhawan, with 184 IPL caps has 624s in the IPL.
