T20 World Cup 2021: “I Don’t Feel Like Going Home” Famous Pakistan Fan Momin Saqib After Team’s Exit

Famous Pakistan Cricket fan Momin Saqib was in tears after Pakistan lost to Australia in a nail-biting match in the Semi-Final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium.

Pakistan’s dream to lift the World Cup came to an end, after Mathew wade played a match-winning inning, snatching defeat from Pakistan right at the 19th over. The turning point of the game was when Hasan Ali dropped an easy catch of Mathew wade, and the next 3 balls, Wade dispatched all of them for huge sixes.

Wade and Stoinis’s unbroken 81-run partnership for the sixth wicket stunned Pakistan, winning the game, and playing a T20 World Cup final after 11 long years.

Momin Saqib a resident from Pakistan whose video went viral after Pakistan’s defeat against India in the 2019 World Cup in England, uploaded another post on his social media accounts expressing his disappointment after Pakistan’s loss in the Semi-final.

He said:

“I don’t feel like going home now. Pakistan lost the match so naturally, I will feel sad. But the boys played really good cricket, they won back-to-back games. I don’t have any hard feelings against the team, they played very good cricket.

“They are our champions, and we love them. Tonight also we played very well, would have been good if we had won but we still love them,” Momin said in a video on Instagram as he sat distraught in an empty stand at the Dubai International Stadium.

Babar Azam‘s Pakistan had a dream campaign throughout the T20 World Cup. They didn’t lose a single match in the group stage of the tournament, defeating teams like India and New Zealand to make their way through the semi-final.

Their intensity of the field looked better than ever, and they were committed to what they did for the team. We saw Pakistan cricket on another level in this edition of the World Cup.
