In 2021, the Pakistan team traveled to England for a limited overs series. In the first match of the three-match T20 series of this tour, Shaheen Afridi gave Pakistan a win with a brilliant bowling performance.
Batting first, Pakistan made a mountain of 232 runs. In reply, Liam Livingstone looked likely to give England a historic win. But Shaheen restrained the other batsmen and did not allow them to score aggressively. He gave only 30 runs in 3.2 overs and dismissed three England batsmen. #3 26/3 vs West Indies (2021)
2021 was the best year for Shaheen Afridi in T20 cricket. Towards the end of the year 2021, The West Indies team had come to Pakistan. In the second match of the three-match T20 series, Shaheen performed brilliantly to lead Pakistan to a victory.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 172 for 8 in 20 overs. Just when West Indies looked set to win on the back of Brendan King’s aggressive half-century, Shaheen kept the West Indies batsmen in check with his sharp bowling.
