Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are currently facing each other at Wankhede stadium in the 37th match of IPL 2022. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. Mumbai Indians are coming on the verge of 7 consecutive losses in IPL 2022.

KL Rahul is one of the most consistent batsmen in the history of IPL. He has been in amazing form in this IPL season too. Today, once again Rahul delivered another masterclass against Mumbai Indians. After being invited to bat first, LSG had a slow start their skipper led from front and scored 103* runs in 62 balls. This helped the Super Giants post a target of 169 runs for MI.

KL Rahul has scored 368 runs in eight innings in IPL 2022 at an Average of 61.30. He has also scored these runs at a great Strike Rate of 148 which shows his high impact. Currently, Rahul stands at 2nd position in the race of Orange Cap, only behind Jos Buttler.

Rahul loves smashing Mumbai Indians and he once again showed a great example of it today. Rahul has smashed three Centuries against Mumbai Indians. He also has the record of most half centuries by a player in IPL against five times IPL champions.

Lucknow had a shaky start to the match but Rahul’s lone warrior knock took Lucknow to a total of 168 runs. Earlier in the match , Mohsin Khan replaced Avesh Khan in the playing XI of LSG due to injury. Mumbai Indians were unchanged for this match.
