Ricky Ponting has scored 71 centuries in International cricket that consists of 41 test centuries and 30 ODI centuries. He is regarded as one of the greatest batsman and best captain in the golden era of the International cricket. He made his Test debut and ODI debut on 8 December 1995 vs. Sri Lanka and 15 February 1995 vs. South Africa respectively. He is one of the only four players to score 13000 plus test runs in International cricket. He scored a total of 27,082 runs in 543 matches across test and ODI cricket formats. He played his last test and ODI on 3 December 2012 vs. South Africa and 19 February 2012 vs India respectively. He is the only cricketer in the world to be a part of 100 test match wins.
