Top 5 Savage Replies By Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is one of the most humorous cricketers in India. Rohit likes to smash the ball out of the park, both on and off the field. The comments he spits out during media interactions are largely funny, with a trace of swagger sprinkled on top.

He not only enjoys speaking in front of the press, but he also keeps everyone in the room entertained. Here we look at 5 Rohit Sharma responses that astonished everyone:

#5. Trolling A Pakistani Journalist

Sharma was in the form of his life at the 2019 World Cup, smashing five centuries in the mega tournament. Seeing the Hitman construct that expressive strokeplay with such superb mastery was a visual feast for the eyes.

On the day when India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs at Old Trafford, a Pakistani journalist asked him, “What would you recommend to Pakistani batters to help them get out of this crisis?”

Rohit knew that this was the best moment to make everyone laugh as he said, “Agar main Pakistan ka coach bana to bilkul bataunga” which roughly translates to: “If I am appointed as Pakistan’s coach, I would definitely tell them.” Everyone in the room started laughing after Rohit’s answer.

Rishabh Pant walked out to bat at No. 4 in the ICC World Cup 2019 match between India and England, ahead of Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni. A journalist questioned Rohit if he was shocked to see Pant come out to bat at No. 4.

Rohit replied: “Not really because You all guys wanted Rishabh Pant to play right? Right from India, you were asking where is Rishabh Pant, where is Rishabh Pant. There he is at no.4.”

#3. When A Journalist Requested Rohit To Give A Greeting To Birthday Boy MS Dhoni

On the occasion of MS Dhoni’s birthday, a journalist asked Rohit about his message for the birthday boy. Rohit replied hilariously by saying,

“Birthday mein kya bola jata hai? Happy birthday? Yehi tho bola jata hai. (which roughly translates to: On a person’s birthday, what do you say? Happy Birthday only right?)”

Sharma later stated that because they have a travel day, they will cut the cake for Dhoni’s birthday during the bus ride.

“Par ha, abhi kal travel day hai humara and pata nahi hum Manchester jaa rahe hai ya Birmingham jaa rahe hai. Tho uss hisab se bus drive mein shayad cake cutting hoga.Photo woto bhejenge aapko”,Rohit added.

#2. When A Journalist Asked Rohit About Shakib Al Hasan’s Ban

In 2019, Shakib Al Hasan was barred from playing international cricket after failing to report match-fixing approaches. Journalists were looking for a way to extract some masala from Rohit regarding the scenario and asked his opinion about the suspension.

Rohit got irritated by the question and gave a brief and simple reply, “I am not ICC.”

In a Q & A session on Twitter, Rohit was asked “How do you get such humour during PC?”

Sharma had a cheeky reply for this as well, “I like my press conferences because it’s the one time you can give it back to the reporters,” Sharma answered.
