Rahul Dravid was the coach of the Indian team that won an ODI series against Sri Lanka, but unfortunately lost the T20I series. They were outplayed in the decider by an inexperienced Sri Lankan side which came as a surprise to many. Dravid meanwhile kept his support on the players and backed them to prosper in their respective international careers.
Here’s What Rahul Dravid Told Indian Players After The T20I Series Loss Against Sri Lanka. During his recent appearance on the Risers Podcast, Bhuvneshwar was asked by VVS Laxman to share his experience of working with Rahul Dravid on the Sri Lankan tour.
“It was a good experience. I was looking forward to working with him, and we know how calm he is, and how he works. So he was very similar when he was coaching us. He is someone who looks for the details, gives attention to details. He just wants to keep everything perfect from his side” said Bhuvi to Laxman.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Reveals Rahul Dravid’s Golden Words

Bhuvneshwar Kumar further revealed some golden words Rahul Dravid said after India lost the series against Sri Lanka.
“The one thing I liked from him that he said that – ‘Win or lose we’re gonna be same. I won’t appreciate much if you win. I won’t criticize you much if you lose.’ Like I said, he is very calm. I loved working with him” said Bhuvi.
The former Indian skipper denied reports of having a full-time role as a coach with the Indian cricket team. He worked for the welfare of players at the National Cricket Academy and as per reports has reapplied for the role of Head of Cricket at the NCA again.
“I have enjoyed this experience. I have not really thought of anything far ahead. To be honest with you, I am happy doing what I am doing. For me, I have not given it any other thought except this tour and getting through this tour and enjoying the experience. I love working with these guys, it’s pretty great. And no, I haven’t given it any thought really. You know, there are a lot of challenges doing a full-time role so I really don’t know,” Dravid had said.
