Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur put on an absolute show on day 3 at Brisbane. The two lower Indian batsmen batted like a dream and absolutely stunned Australia. The two got together at a stage when India was still miles behind of Australia’s first innings score.

Still, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur were determined to do something special for team India which they did for real. Twitter was buzzing in appreciation for both Thakur and Sundar as they stitched together a partnership for the ages. The Indian team once again produced the goods under pressure courtesy of a memorable stand between Sundar and Thakur.’

The two got together when India was reeling at 186-6 and the hosts were eyeing to dismiss them cheaply. However, debutant Sundar and Thakur had other ideas as they not only batted time but also scored valuable runs. Sundar and Thakur took India past 300 and electrified the Gabba with some breath-taking strokes. The duo batted with ease against both pace and spin as Australia looked completely clueless.

As expected cricket enthusiasts and experts where all praises for Sundar and Thakur.
