Sledging is something where the players insult or abuse the opposition players. During the Caribbean Premier League 2017 edition, Chadwick Walton and Kesrick Williams were involved in greatest sledging in cricket history.
Kesrick Williams played for Jamaica Tallawahs while Chadwick Walton featured for Guyana Amazon Warriors. When Jamaica Tallawahs met Guyana Amazon Warriors first time in 2017 edition of the CPL at Guyana on 17th August 2017, Kesrick Williams dismissed Chadwick Walton for 37 runs in the 12th over and gave Walton a notebook celebration while going back to the pavilion. Jamaica Tallawahs won the match by 2 runs defending a total 129 to win.
In that match, Kesrick Williams took 3 for 30 and was named the man of the match for his brilliant spell. When these two teams met again at Sabina Park, Jamaica on 1st September 2017, Chadwick Walton took the revenge by smashing, Kesrick Williams to all parts of the ground. Walton smashed Kesrick Williams and showed the bowler sweet spot of the bat.

Chasing the target of 150, Kesrick Williams was bought into the attack in the 4th over and Walton smashed 20 runs with 3 sixes, 1 fours and 1 single while Luke Ronchi hit the six off the final ball. Again Williams was brought in the 9th over as Walton continued to smash Kesrick Williams. In the previous match, Kesrick Williams dismissed Walton. Walton remained not out on 84 off 40 balls and helped Guyana Amazon Warriors win the match by 9 wickets with 57 balls to spare.
In the second match, Kesrick Williams went for 46 runs in his 2 overs. Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs met again the Eliminator. This time, Guyana Amazon Warriors won the match by 5 wickets chasing the target of 169. Chadwick Walton scored 39 off 23 balls while Kesrick Williams went for 48 runs in his 4 overs.
Kesrick Williams finished the 2017 edition of CPL with 15 wickets from 11 matches. Trinbago Knight Riders won the finals beating ST Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 3 wickets.
