‘Consistency Is The Key’, Virat Kohli Prepares Himself By Sweating It Out Ahead Of The 3rd Test

    Virat Kohli is gearing up for the day and night Test match against England at Ahmedabad. With the Test match still a few days away Kohli has decided to keep his batting aside and focus on strength training. As soon as the Indian team arrived at the new stadium in Ahmedabad, Kohli led the way for team India as they trained with full intensity.

    As we all know Kohli is a huge fitness freak and likes to get into his zone by performing compound lifts in the gym. It allows the Indian captain to perform better on the field as lifting weights increases his endurance and stamina. The Indian captain has created a fitness culture within the Indian side and all players now train like professional athletes before any match.

    Coming back to the series between England and India, it is currently tied at 1-1. The visitors stunned the hosts in the opening Test whereas Kohli and his men bounced back in style and won the second Test by a big margin. Kohli is now eyeing another victory as it will take team India closer to the ICC world Test championship final.

    Virat Kohli on Friday shared a glimpse of his workout with all his fans on social media and showed them how he is preparing for the upcoming Test match against England. Kohli as always looked focused and captioned the post, ‘Consistency is the key’.

    Meanwhile, apart from Kohli all the other prominent Indian players also worked out in the gym after landing at Motera, Ahmedabad. The third Test match between the sides will be a pink-ball Test which will be played between February 24-28. A few days back the BCCI announced the Indian squad for the last 2 Test matches against England.
