Virat Kohli, the star batsman for India, reached a new milestone when he became the first and only Indian to reach 250 million Instagram followers.

The opening batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is at the top of his game and has just scored two straight hundreds in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

Virat enjoyed a successful IPL 2023 season. In 14 games, he scored 639 runs at an average of 53.25 and a strike rate of over 139. In this season, he has two centuries, six fifties and a 101* best score. He has scored the third-most runs in the league thus far.

The first Indian to reach the milestone, Virat Kohli now has 200 million Instagram followers

One international century for India and seven centuries for RCB are among Virat’s eight T20 century totals. In 374 T20 matches, he has amassed 11,965 runs, which is a strong total.

On Wednesday, Kohli uploaded a video to his account to express his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering love and support. In a montage he posted, a collection of his various Instagram posts could be seen.

”200 mills strong. Thank you for your continued support, Instagram family,” Kohli wrote alongside a montage.

Virat has a sizable fan base and has long held the title of Instagram’s most popular user. He has the most followers of any Asian on Instagram.

As RCB’s participation in the competition came to an end, Virat is scheduled to play in the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which will begin on June 7 at the Oval in England. (ANI).

The five-match T20I series against South Africa, which starts on Thursday in Delhi, won’t include the talented Indian batter, who is currently on rest.

In the recently finished Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, he went through a slump, scoring 341 runs from 16 games while only averaging 22 points per game.
