Speculations surrounding Anushka’s pregnancy were put to rest when former South African cricketer AB de Villiers corroborated the news in a social media update. Kohli himself proudly shared that Akaay graced the world on February 15.

Before the birth of Akaay, Kohli and Anushka had already embraced parenthood with their three-year-old daughter, Vamika. Kohli’s recent cricketing endeavours saw him in action during the second Test against South Africa in Cape Town in January, where India emerged victorious by seven wickets.
