Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer and former England captain Michael Vaughan have been engaged in a Twitter battle for quite a while now. Although it’s all in jest, there seems to be no end to their frequent fights and the Twitterati doesn’t have any complaints as long as they’re entertained.
Vaughan, who’s well known to stir up controversy with his over-the-top opinions, was impressed with New Zealand’s performance against England in the recently concluded 2-match Test series. He called them a ‘high-class team’ and went on to back New Zealand to beat India in the WTC Final.
NZ are a high class team .. Read the situation with the Bat in hand, skilful with the ball & catch brilliantly .. Really fancy them to beat India next week .. #ENGvNZ

‘Tera kaam ho gaya tu ja’ – Wasim Jaffer gives a hilarious response
Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer is usually active on Twitter, where he posts coded messages regarding team selections and asks the fans to decode them. However, during times when there are no matches, the former Indian opener is known for reacting to opinions or sharing hilarious memes.
Just a couple of hours after Vaughan tweeted his opinion on the WTC Final, Jaffer responded with a meme template from the famous Bollywood movie ‘Welcome’. It features a quote from the movie, “tera kaam hogaya tu ja” which literally translates to “Your work is done, now leave.”

There is a lot at stake during the World Test Championship Final. The winner not only grabs the trophy for the inaugural edition of the WTC, but also ends up becoming the No.1 Test team in the world. With New Zealand’s strong display in the Test series against England, the pressure is on Virat Kohli & co to amp-up their game.
The odds are stacked in New Zealand’s favor, considering India’s history in ICC events against the Kiwis. Ever since 2003 World Cup, India has failed to take down the Black Caps in an ICC event. However, the Men in blue have a chance to set things right in the upcoming WTC Final starting June 18.
