Wasim Jaffer was once again at his best on Twitter as he taunted a prominent sports website. The UK based website named Telegraph Sport shared a tweet of Ajinkya Rahane’s century with a very strange heading. Wasim Jaffer who is extremely active on Twitter spotted it and fixed it in his whimsical manner.

The stand-in captain of India was under immense pressure before the boxing day Test match. In recent times Rahane had been below-par with the bat and failed to score consistently in Test matches. Luckily the burden of captaincy did him a world of good as he produced one of the all-time great Test centuries.

Rahane stood tall again a quality bowling attack of Australia and registered his 12th Test match century. During his innings, Rahane did get a slice of luck as Australia dropped him twice and he survived some close moments. As they say, fortune favours the brave and Rahane made those drop catches count and reached the magical three figures mark.

The Indian captain was being appreciated by everyone but Telegraph Sport decided to take a dig at his special batting effort. The website published an article in which they wrote a rather immature title which wasn’t received well by Indians fans.

“Ajinkya Rahane benefits from dropped catches to claim his 12th test match century”, the UK based website wrote in their title.

Meanwhile, Wasim Jaffer came to Rahane’s rescue and gave the website a fitting reply. The former India cricketer edited the title the right way and showed the website how to respect and compliment Rahane’s century. Jaffer edited ‘benefits from dropped catches’ and made it the perfect caption for Rahane’s amazing captain innings.
