The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) recently posted a video on their official social media accounts featuring pacer Khaleel Ahmed showcasing his singing talent. The left-arm fast bowler performed a popular song during an IPL 2025 event. Khaleel sang a few lines from Arijit Singh’s track ‘Hai Dil Ye Mera’ from the Bollywood film Hate Story 2.
His performance drew applause from his CSK teammates, including Ravindra Jadeja, Rachin Ravindra, and Dewald Brevis, who were clearly impressed. Even Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Deepak Chahar joined in the praise, leaving a compliment on the post. You can watch the video here:

Here’s how Chahar responded to CSK’s post:
The Chennai franchise secured Khaleel Ahmed for ₹4.80 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction. So far this season, he has delivered a steady performance, taking 14 wickets in 12 matches with an economy rate of 9.71.
CSK are set to play two more matches following the resumption of IPL 2025
IPL 2025 is scheduled to resume on Saturday, May 17, following a brief break. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who are already out of contention for the playoffs, will wrap up their season with their final two league matches. Currently, they sit at the bottom of the points table.
With just three wins and nine losses so far, CSK will aim to finish on a high and avoid ending the season with the wooden spoon. They are set to take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 20, followed by their last league match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 25.
Notably, the remaining 17 matches of IPL 2025 will be held across six different venues. According to the updated schedule, the Eliminator and two Qualifier matches are slated between May 29 and June 1. The grand finale will be held on June 3, though the venues for the playoffs and final are yet to be confirmed.
