[WATCH]- Danny Morrison Playfully Questions MS Dhoni At Toss Before CSK vs PBKS IPL 2025 Clash

Former New Zealand cricketer Danny Morrison brought his usual humor to the toss once again, posing a bold and playful question to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni ahead of their IPL 2025 match against Punjab Kings (PBKS).

Hosting the toss, Morrison hinted at Dhoni’s future in cricket following the crowd’s iconic roar at Chepauk on Wednesday, April 30. After PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first—also confirming Glenn Maxwell’s absence due to injury—it was Dhoni’s turn to speak.

However, the loud cheers from the home crowd caused a short pause, slowing down the toss for a moment. Enjoying the lively atmosphere, Morrison took the chance to ask Dhoni if the strong support from fans might affect his decision to play next season.

“Does this mean you’re gonna come back next year as well?” Morrison asked.

As usual, Dhoni skillfully dodged the question with a clever response.

“I don’t know if I am coming back the next game,” the CSK captain replied with a laugh.

Dhoni Says CSK Failed to Use Home Advantage This Season

MS Dhoni acknowledged the value of performing in front of the home fans and admitted that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hasn’t fully capitalized on that advantage this season.

“One of the things is the pride factor. Majority of the games you play at home. Home advantage is very important which we haven’t been able to capitalise on,” he added.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have suffered four consecutive home defeats and currently sit at the bottom of the points table. They are now dangerously close to being officially knocked out of the playoff contention.
