The prolific pair of Johnny Bairstow and David Warner opened the inning for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Sunrisers are currently chasing a total of 164 at Dubai. Bairstow led the charge for SRH as he started attacking Umesh Yadav in his first over.

The Englishmen wasted no time and hit Yadav for a crunching boundary with no fuss. He followed it up by playing a short-arm pull and deposited the delivery way back in the stands. Unfortunately the next ball he played an uppish drive to which Yadav got his hand and Warner got run out.

The SRH skipper was extremely unlucky as he did not expect to get out this way. Warner was backing up too far and could not reach the crease before the ball hit the stumps. David Warner got run-out in the most unfortunate and freakish way for only 6 runs.

Meanwhile, the pair of Manish Pandey and Baristow are currently consolidating the SRH inning. This is a crucial partnership for SRH as they possess a fairly inexperienced middle order.

Traditionally the track at Dubai is expected to slow down once the ball loses its shine. Pandey and Bairstow will be looking to take advantage of the batting powerplay and then smartly rotate the strike against spinners.

Earlier in the match RCB on the back of fine half-centuries from Ab de Villiers and Devdutt Padikkal reached a competitive total of 163 runs. Padikkal in his debut match scored 56 from just 42 deliveries. The maestro, ABD, on the other hand, played a scintillating knock off 51 from 30 balls. Furthermore, Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently 48-1 after 6 overs.
