Team India pacer Deepak Chahar is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj. The Haldi ceremony took place on June 1 (Wednesday) in Agra, Deepak’s hometown. The entire Jaypee Palace hotel in the city has been booked for the grand wedding. According to reports, the wedding ceremony will be attended by close friends and family members.
During the Haldi Ceremony, Deepak looked in a jovial mode. He was seen dancing while his friends, including cousin brother Rahul Chahar were applying turmeric on his face.

A reception ceremony is also planned in New Delhi’s Kamal Mahal at ITC Maurya Hotel. As per reports in InsideSport; MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expected to attend the function.
The theme of the wedding ceremony is called: ‘The Royal Grandeur’. The wedding card of the couple had gone viral a few days ago. On the wedding card, the initials of their names J and D were written in a creative way. Earlier during the last league match of IPL 2021, Deepak had proposed Jaya in the stadium.

Deepak Chahar’s Injury was a big factor in CSK’s Sub-par show in IPL 2022
CSK’s main bowler Deepak Chahar couldn’t participate in IPL 2022. Chahar had injured his right quadriceps while bowling during the third T20I between India and West Indies, played in Feb 2022. After that he was rehabbing at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
It was expected that Chahar will recover and join the CSK squad in the middle of IPL 2022. However, a new back injury meant that he was ruled out of the entire season. Deepak Chahar was signed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a whopping INR 14 crores in the IPL 2022 auctions.
