Rajasthan Royals players Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler were learning some dance moves from Dhanashree Verma, the legspinner’s wife. Chahal and Buttler both have been top performers for the Rajasthan Royals franchise in the Indian Premier League 2022 season.

The Rajasthan Royals failed to lift the trophy as they lost the finals to Gujarat Titans on Sunday. However, Buttler’s batting carnage and Chahal’s bowling brilliance in the tournament earned much praise. In a video shared by Dhanashree Verma, the Buttler-Chahal duo can be seen learning some dance steps from the choreographer. Dhanashree has been part of the Rajasthan Royals bio-bubble and is often seen cheering the team.

While posting the video on her Instagram account, she wrote, “This is us 🧿🤙🏻 The pink between the Orange & Purple 💞”

In the finals, the Rajasthan Royals failed to take advantage of the toss and faltered with their batting attack. They could only manage 130 runs in twenty-overs. In reply, the Gujarat Titans chased it down comfortably in just over 18 overs, with seven wickets to spare.

Jos Buttler was the leading run-scorer in the tournament. In seventeen matches, he scored 863 runs at an average of 57.53 and at a strike rate of 149.05. Buttler’s run tally included four centuries and as many half-centuries this season. He was the main pillar of the Rajasthan Royals batting attack, who lighted up the season with his consistent performance.

On the other hand, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal too made a remarkable impact in the tournament. He was the leading wicket-taker, with twenty-seven wickets from seventeen matches. Chahal had one five-wicket and one four-wicket haul to his name in the tournament this season. Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal played an instrumental role in Rajasthan Royals Indian Premier League 2022 journey.
