[Watch] Jos Buttler’s Gets Livid With Himself As He Gets Dismissed For 39 Runs In The IPL 2022 Finals

Rajasthan Royal opener Jos Buttler could not make much of an impact in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 finals against the Gujarat Titans. He was livid with himself after getting dismissed for 39 runs in the first innings of the match.

Jos Buttler opened the innings for the Rajasthan Royals along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. He looked good with the bat during his stay at the crease. However, wickets trembling at the other end kept the building the pressure. His opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal walked back to the hut for 22 runs,  while skipper Sanju Samson too could not contribute much.

Left-hander Devdutt Padikkal who walked out to bat at number four struggled badly at the crease. He failed to get going and only managed 2 runs from 10 balls. The mounting pressure finally got to Jos Buttler, who gave a simple catch to Wriddhiman Saha off Hardik Pandya’s bowling. Buttler flung his gloves in anger, outside the boundary rope as he walked back to the hut.

Rajasthan Royals batters fail to capitalize after winning the toss

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first in the finals of the Indian Premier League 2022 season. However, the batters have so far failed to make the most of their decision.

The Rajasthan Royals are reeling at 94 with half the team back in the hut in fifteen overs. Jos Buttler was the lone fighter at the crease, however, he too could not make it big this time. Power-hitter Shimron Hetmyer was the latest to get dismissed. Following his wicket, Riyan Parag joined Ravichandran Ashwin at the crease.

On the other hand, the Gujarat Titans have been absolutely spot-on with their bowling performance so far in the match. Skipper Hardik Pandya has led the team from the front, picking three for 17 runs in his four overs.
