During the opening T20I between Australia and South Africa on Sunday, August 10, at Marrara Oval in Darwin, a spectator made a stunning one-handed catch while holding two cans of beer. The fan effortlessly secured the catch, impressing commentator Mark Howard.

Bosch was the most expensive bowler for South Africa in the match, finishing with figures of 3 overs, 44 runs, and no wickets. Left-arm pacer Kwena Maphaka claimed four wickets, while Kagiso Rabada took two. George Linde, Senuran Muthusamy, and Lungi Ngidi each picked up one wicket.
Tim David was the standout batsman for Australia, scoring a powerful 83 off 52 balls, including eight sixes and four fours, helping the team reach 178 runs in 20 overs. Cameron Green also played a crucial role with a quick 35 off 13 balls. The home side had been struggling earlier at 78 for 6, which made the partnership between David and Green even more remarkable.
Aiden Markram Falls Early As Tim David Shines In Opening T20I
Meanwhile, the Proteas lost Aiden Markram early despite a promising start while chasing 179. Markram hit three boundaries off Josh Hazlewood in the first over, including two back-to-back, but was soon caught at cover by Cameron Green.
Australia, captained by Mitchell Marsh, came into the match following a 5-0 T20I series win in the West Indies, while South Africa had recently suffered a narrow loss to New Zealand in the tri-series final in Zimbabwe. At the time of writing, South Africa stood at 40/2 after 4.4 overs, with Lhuan-dre Pretorius dismissed for 14.
