Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, known for his role as an opening batter, recently took a break from the cricket field to engage in a thrilling skydiving adventure. Dhawan captained the Punjab Kings (PBKS) franchise in the IPL 2023 season. He shared a video on his official Instagram account, providing fans with a glimpse of his thrilling experience.
Dhawan’s journey in the IPL has seen him transition from the Delhi Capitals to PBKS in 2022 after the latter acquired him through a substantial paycheck during the mega-auction. With his arrival, the Punjab team management also entrusted him with the responsibility of leading the team in IPL 2023.
Unfortunately, Dhawan was unable to reverse the fortunes of the Punjab Kings, as they finished at the bottom of the points table in the previous season. The left-handed batsman faced fitness issues throughout the tournament and missed a few league games.
Despite the challenges, he scored 373 runs in 11 matches, maintaining an average of 41.44. His highest score of the season was an impressive 99 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Currently enjoying his well-deserved break from cricket, Dhawan has been actively pursuing adventurous activities.
