Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya recently showed a touching gesture towards a fan ahead of their IPL 2025 clash against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH). The MI squad is currently in Hyderabad, preparing for the match set to take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday, April 23.

A video shared by an X user captured the moment, where a fan approached Hardik at the airport and attempted to touch his feet, only to be pulled away by security. However, Hardik intervened, asked the guards to stop, and gave the fan an autograph, creating a memorable moment. You can watch the video here:

MI Stand Sixth On IPL 2025 Table After Eight Matches

MI had a rough start to IPL 2025, winning just one of their first five games, but bounced back with three straight wins over DC, SRH, and CSK. Now, led by Hardik Pandya, they’ll look to continue the winning streak on Wednesday in Hyderabad. Aakash Chopra shared his thoughts on the upcoming clash on his YouTube channel:

“The SunRisers Hyderabad’s sun is setting, and the Mumbai Indians are flying. They annihilated Chennai in the last match. Rohit has also come in form. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are in form, and Ryan Rickelton is looking good. Hardik Pandya has played some cameos in patches and picked up a five-wicket haul.”

“Trent Boult is doing alright. He is bowling in different stages of the game. Jasprit Bumrah is looking hot. This team is looking good. Now you cannot say this is a weakness or that is a problem. There was a concern that Rohit wasn’t scoring runs as an opener. When he too has scored runs, things become streamlined, and Mumbai are looking like that now in IPL,” Chopra added.
