[WATCH]- KL Rahul Switches To Left-Handed Batting In Street Cricket

Recently, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul displayed his versatility in an unexpected turn of events during an unplanned game of street cricket. The video of KL Rahul holding the bat with his left hand has gone viral on social media, surprising fans with his hidden talent.

In the video, KL Rahul, dressed casually, participates in a friendly game with the Star Sports broadcasting team. Upon reaching the makeshift wicket, Rahul held the bat with his left hand rather than his usual right-handed stance.

The sight of KL Rahul, an experienced right-handed batsman, seamlessly transitioning to a left-handed batting stance, impressed spectators. The timing of this street cricket session is noteworthy, especially considering KL Rahul’s recent omission from the Indian cricket team for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

Despite his consistent performance in the IPL and impressive form in various formats, Rahul’s exclusion from the Indian squad disappointed numerous fans.

LSG will take on MI today at Wankhede Stadium

KL Rahul is currently captaining Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2024 season. He is set to compete against Mumbai Indians in their last league stage match of the tournament on May 17.

LSG’s chances of making it to the playoffs appear slim following the abandonment of the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans due to rain on Thursday.

LSG’s hopes for a top-four finish have been severely dented by three consecutive losses, nearly extinguishing their season. Even if they win their last group-stage match against MI, they will still need other teams’ results to go their way.

LSG’s only recourse is to defeat MI by a significant margin to improve their abysmal run rate of -0.787. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians will seek to salvage some pride and conclude the season with a victory.

LSG is positioned seventh in the IPL 2024 standings with 12 points, having secured six wins and seven losses. On the other hand, MI has been eliminated early this season and currently occupies the bottom spot in the IPL 2024 standings with only four wins and nine losses, totalling eight points.
