[WATCH]- Krunal Pandya Breaks Into Celebration Dance After RCB’s Historic IPL Win

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Krunal Pandya celebrated with an energetic dance at the team hotel after his side clinched their first-ever IPL trophy. RCB secured the title by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs in a thrilling final held on Tuesday, June 3, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

Krunal was a key contributor throughout the season, making significant all-round impacts that helped RCB’s success. Bought by RCB for ₹5.75 crore at last year’s mega auction, his performances in crucial moments proved to be invaluable for the team.

In the chase of 191, PBKS led until Krunal’s bowling turned the game. His 4 overs, 17 runs, and 2 wickets helped RCB win by six runs. RCB posted a video of Krunal dancing with teammates at the hotel, celebrating their historic win.

Krunal Pandya’s Brave Spell Powers RCB To Victory In Thrilling IPL Final

Krunal Pandya earned the Player of the Match award in the IPL 2025 final thanks to his outstanding bowling in the second innings. During the post-match ceremony, Pandya shared insights into his mindset and strategy, stating:

“When we batted in the first innings, I was sitting out. Had a chat with the batters, found that the slower you bowl, it was tough. But you need guts to do that, but I backed myself and varied my pace, rather than firing it in. What has been my biggest strengths, is learning from the situation and backing my instincts. Had to be brave enough with the ball.”

“If I’m able to bowl slow, I’ll be able to take couple of wickets. If you had bowled quick on that surface, pace variation was key. The second innings it was easier to compare with the first innings. When I joined RCB, I love winning trophies. After three and a half months, I was able to manifest what I said. It feels good, I told Hardik that there’ll be 9 trophies in eleven years,” Pandya added.
