[WATCH]- Kuldeep Yadav Strikes Twice In Three Balls, Dismissing Brevis And Jansen In IND vs SA 3rd ODI

India’s left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav claimed two quick wickets in the third ODI against South Africa, dismissing Dewald Brevis and Marco Jansen in just three balls. The match is underway on Saturday, December 6, at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. In the 39th over, Kuldeep bowled a well-disguised wrong’un outside off stump.

Brevis attempted an aggressive shot but only managed to top-edge the ball, allowing Rohit Sharma at mid-wicket to take a comfortable catch. The right-hander finished with 29 runs off 29 balls, including two fours and a six.

Just two deliveries later, on the third ball of the over, Kuldeep tossed one up on off stump. Jansen tried a cross-batted shot but mistimed it, sending the ball straight to deep mid-wicket, where Ravindra Jadeja completed the catch. You can watch both dismissal video here:

Choosing to bowl first, Arshdeep Singh made an immediate impact for India by dismissing Ryan Rickelton for a four-ball duck in the opening over. Quinton de Kock and captain Temba Bavuma then rebuilt the innings with a 113-run partnership, before Ravindra Jadeja removed Bavuma for 48 off 67 balls, claiming India’s second wicket.

De Kock continued to anchor the innings, but Prasidh Krishna made breakthroughs in the 29th over, dismissing Matthew Breetzke (24) and Aiden Markram (1). De Kock reached his 23rd ODI century with a six, finishing on 106 off 89 balls, before Krishna claimed his third wicket.

Later, Kuldeep Yadav struck in the 39th over, removing Dewald Brevis (29) and Marco Jansen (17). He then dismissed Corbin Bosch (9) in the 43rd over to secure his third wicket. At the time of writing, South Africa were 252/8 after 43 overs, with Keshav Maharaj (7) and Lungi Ngidi (0) at the crease.
