The saga of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League has been one filled with glory under their captaincy of Hardik Pandya. Hardik Pandya’s spell, however, was certainly one of shades and hurdles. There have been triumphs and lowdowns, some of which were on the borderline of controversy, including the one where he was booed for “poor performance.”

But, time and again, he proved his mental strength and determination to dig himself out of potential holes, emboldening his resolve as one driving force for his progress as a captain and an incredible player for the Mumbai Indians and India.

Hardik Pandya reminisced about the times he has traveled with Mumbai Indians. He also stated how times have changed for him since 2015. He referred to himself that time as a young boy who had come with the aim to explore and learn.

It was hard to fathom that it would take three years of transformational life from uncertainty to growth. It turned out to be a wonderful journey full of scenarios and experiences offering transformations of self and work.

“Lots of things happened in those 3 years, so going back to 2015, lots of things happened again. I was a young boy just trying to explore, so it has been an incredible journey. I asked myself what was used to then and now it’s completely changed.” Hardik Pandya said.

In Indian Premier League 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 41st game. On April 23, the two teams will square off at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
