Mumbai Indians (MI) stars Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav recently had the opportunity to meet Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. They were accompanied by International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Jay Shah during the interaction.

The Crown Prince visited Mumbai on Tuesday, April 8, to attend a roundtable discussion with prominent business leaders from India and Dubai. Amid his engagements, he also took a moment to meet and interact with several Indian cricketers.

As a token of respect, India’s ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma gifted the Crown Prince a Team India jersey. Here’s a glimpse of their meeting:

Team India’s T20I captain and MI batter Suryakumar Yadav shared his excitement after meeting Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. He mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed their conversation about cricket. Posting a photo from the meeting on Instagram, Suryakumar wrote:

Suryakumar Yadav is currently Mumbai Indians’ top scorer in IPL 2025, having piled up 199 runs in five innings with an impressive strike rate of 150.75. In their latest match, the Mumbai Indians faced a 12-run loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on their home turf.

With the tournament entering a critical phase, Hardik Pandya and his team will aim to bounce back and build momentum to move up the points table.
